This is the official interest check page for HOTLINE, a short-run murdergame based loosely around Hotline Miami. If you would like to know more about this setting, please direct yourself to the FAQ/rules page!

You don't have to be on either of the mods' plurklist to fill out this interest form--if there is significant interest in this game, we will consider opening it to the public.

Currently, we're looking to start sometime during April/May, though this may change based on interest. A start date will be announced later after taking into account the schedules of the moderators and potential players. Questions?: I guess I should ask for a bit more of detail about the 'viewing themselves as a bad person' possibility. Can you go a bit more in-depth about that? Maybe an example or two?

As long as the character is strongly capable of considering themselves to be morally bad, or having done morally bad things, then they would be applicable. For example, Chidi Anagonye from The Good Place, or Juno Steel from The Penumbra Podcast. Both of these characters frequently struggle with moral quandaries and can easily view themselves as bad people.

Characters who view themselves in this way will be checked on a case-by-case basis, as this is more difficult to confirm as opposed to whether or not they have committed crimes.
