This is the official interest check page for HOTLINE, a short-run murdergame based loosely around Hotline Miami. If you would like to know more about this setting, please direct yourself to the FAQ/rules page!

You don't have to be on either of the mods' plurklist to fill out this interest form--if there is significant interest in this game, we will consider opening it to the public.

Currently, we're looking to start sometime during April/May, though this may change based on interest. A start date will be announced later after taking into account the schedules of the moderators and potential players. What is your preferred start date?: Strongly prefer June!
Likelihood of joining: As I will be modding 15 Strangers R4 throughout April and May, my availability is dependent on June time frame. From there, I'd say 50/50 tbh. I would very much like to join as this premise seems great, so I'll only hold off if I'm burned out.
Questions?: Does a secret agent (for example from a CIA analogy) count as a "Cop"? Also, what about former cops, such as someone who quit the force and became a private detective? And does it affect it if being a private detective is a fake cover.

Any person actively serving in a law enforcement agency would count as a "cop", so thus a secret agent or government agent would fall under that rule. Fake cover doesn't count, either. However, ex-cops would be permitted, given that they are not actively affiliated with and working with a law enforcement agency. Play your rugged private detectives to your hearts desire.
